Mexican Hot Biscuits Recipe

Bring the mouthwatering aroma of fresh-baked biscuits to your kitchen with Pillsbury Grands Mini Biscuits! Each 70-calorie biscuit is a delight when served hot from the oven, with a warm fluffy center and golden, flaky crust. Pillsbury Grands! Mini Biscuits are the perfect size for kids, or for mini sandwiches and appetizers.

There are countless recipe options, from miniature ham sandwiches come lunchtime, to delicious sliders for nighttime entertaining. There are so many ways to make these biscuits and your family will love trying each one. My husband loves to take hot biscuits and butter them then add 2 or 3 olives on each and snack them. I myself like to use the biscuits for sausage gravy and biscuits.

Here’s a recipe that we do like, it’s a pizza!

MEXICAN HOT BISCUITS

7.5 oz. can PILLSBURY refrigerated buttermilk or country biscuits
1/4 c. taco sauce
2 oz. (1/2 c.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. crushed corn or tortilla chips
Olive slices, if desired

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Place biscuits on prepared cookie sheet; roll or press into rounds, about 3 inches in diameter. Brush biscuits with taco sauce; sprinkle with cheese, then crushed chips. Garnish with olive slices. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. 10 servings.

  1. We love Pillsbury at my house. Saves so much time and those biscuits, though I haven't tried them, seem so convenient to just pop in the oven!–Brandyfosterbrandy(at)msn(dot)com

  4. Pillsbury is a time save last night we had a cheap fast dinner: pigs and a blanket, steamed carrots and broccoli. Spent less than $4 to fed 4 people. s_edel1027 at hotmail.com
